Privacy Policy

YOU+ helps people organize goals, plans, habits, and other parts of daily life. This policy explains what information the service handles and the choices available to you. Features that use outside services, including financial, calendar, social, or AI connections, apply only when you use or connect them.
Information we collect
We collect account details such as your name, email address, sign-in information, and preferences. We store information you choose to add, which may include goals, tasks, notes, plans, habits, fitness or health entries, and financial information. If you join the beta waitlist, we collect the information you enter in that form.
When you connect a third-party account, we receive the data and permissions you authorize for that connection. Depending on the service, this may include calendar events, financial account and transaction details, or social profile and post information. You can choose not to connect these services.
We also collect service-use and technical information needed to operate, secure, and improve YOU+, such as sign-in and activity events, device/browser details, IP address, approximate location derived from network information, and website visit or campaign information. The public beta page records visits and form activity with an anonymous visit identifier.
How we use information
We use information to provide your workspace, sync connections you enable, calculate progress, personalize features, respond to support requests, maintain security, understand service performance, and improve the product. With your permission, Coach, day planning, onboarding goal help, or fitness plan generation may send questions or answers and selected app context to OpenAI or Anthropic. This context may include goals, tasks, habits, calendar, health, and financial information. Without permission, available planning uses local rules. With separate permission, meal photo analysis sends the photo you chose and selected nutrition context to OpenAI. You can turn either permission off in settings to stop future requests. Manual meal entry does not require AI sharing. We do not treat AI output as professional medical or financial advice.
Apple Health on iPhone
Apple Health is optional. With the categories you authorize in Apple’s permission sheet, YOU+ reads steps, sleep, and resting heart rate. When you choose to sync, YOU+ imports daily summaries for the most recent seven days into your private account, using the same storage providers described below. YOU+ does not write data to Apple Health or import continuously in the background.
These summaries support your Health views, daily progress, and health-related context. Your AI-sharing choices still apply to Coach. Apple Health readings are not shared with friends, sold, or used for advertising. Revoking access in the Health app stops future imports; it does not remove summaries you already imported. You can request deletion through the contact below, or delete your YOU+ account through account settings.
Who receives information
We use service providers to run YOU+, including Supabase for authentication and data storage and Vercel for hosting. Some features use OpenAI or Anthropic for AI processing. Optional connected services can include Google, Plaid, TikTok, Instagram/Meta, and creative or email providers. A provider receives the information needed for the feature you use or authorize. We may also disclose information when required by law or to protect the service and its users.
Each connected service has its own privacy terms. Disconnecting a service stops future syncing through that connection, but it does not automatically remove information already held by that provider or information previously imported into YOU+.
Storage, security, and retention
We use access controls and server-side handling for credentials and connected-account tokens. No online service can guarantee absolute security. We keep account and workspace information while it is needed to provide the service, then remove or de-identify it when no longer needed, subject to backup cycles and legal or security obligations. Operational logs and records may have different retention periods. Contact us for information about a specific record or a deletion request.
Your choices
You can review or change information in the app, choose whether to connect optional services, and disconnect supported integrations. You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your information by emailing info@projectyouplus.com. We may need to verify your identity before fulfilling a request. Some records may need to be retained for legal, security, or transaction purposes; we will explain any applicable limit.
Browser or device settings may let you manage cookies and permissions. Essential sign-in storage is needed to use authenticated features. If you previously authorized a third-party connection, you may also revoke access in that provider’s settings.
